A growing restaurant chain in Jeddah is looking for an experienced Restaurant Training Manager to develop, deliver and monitor training programs across its restaurant operations.
This is a hands-on, restaurant-focused training position. The successful candidate will work closely with branch managers and operational teams to ensure that employees understand and consistently follow the company’s service standards, operating procedures and brand expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage onboarding programs for new restaurant employees
- Deliver practical training to front-of-house and relevant back-of-house teams
- Train employees on restaurant SOPs, service standards and guest experience
- Conduct menu, product-knowledge and upselling training
- Deliver training related to food safety, hygiene, grooming and workplace conduct
- Prepare training manuals, presentations, checklists and assessment materials
- Organize train-the-trainer programs for restaurant managers and supervisors
- Visit branches regularly to observe employee performance and identify training gaps
- Provide refresher and corrective training based on operational requirements
- Support new branch openings and the introduction of new menus or procedures
- Maintain training attendance, assessment and employee-certification records
- Monitor training effectiveness and recommend improvements
- Work with operations and HR to improve employee performance and service consistency
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant training, F&B learning and development, brand training or restaurant operations
- Strong understanding of restaurant SOPs and service standards
- Experience training frontline restaurant employees
- Ability to train both front-of-house and relevant back-of-house teams
- Experience preparing training materials, assessments and operating manuals
- Strong presentation, coaching and communication skills
- Multi-branch restaurant experience is strongly preferred
- Experience in upper-casual or fine-dining restaurants would be an advantage
- Currently based in Saudi Arabia or possessing relevant KSA restaurant experience
- Willing to be based in Jeddah
Candidates with general corporate training experience should also have substantial hands-on experience delivering training inside restaurants.
